Common Marriage Problems
Marriage problems are a difficult thing to deal with. Although each and every married couple is different, they all will experience some sort of small or large problems at some point in their marriage. Those problems can be fixed in order for the marriage to thrive and depending upon what sort of problems they are, fixing them can be harder or simpler. Here are some common marriage problems that couples may have to deal with at one point.

Communication
Communication is a key part of a healthy marriage. Without healthy communication and sharing of thoughts, fears and hopes, a marriage will fail. Communication does not mean that the two of you sit down every single day and have hour long heart to heart talks. Communication simply means that your partner is letting you know when he or she is afraid, happy, hurt, upset, etc. It means that you are doing the same thing with your partner. These things are quite important to the bonds within a marriage. Lack of communication makes those bonds grow weaker while more communication makes them grow strong and impenetrable. The most successful of marriages contain a great amount of communication.

A Partner has Been Unfaithful
This is another common problem in many marriages, unfortunately. The truth is that this problem is usually the result of another problem that was not addressed. For instance, if there is no communication within a marriage, one partner may feel forced to find intimacy somewhere else. Although infidelity is a very difficult thing to deal with and leaves emotional scars on the victim and the marriage, it can be overcome if the couple is willing to commit. Many couples have gone through infidelity, only to move past it and come out as much in love as they were when they met. It's a matter of seeking help and being motivated to fix it.

Trust Issues
This is a biggie for a lot of marriages. There absolutely has to be trust within a marriage in order for it to be successful. Sometimes a partner may feel that he or she cannot trust their spouse because of personal insecurities or it may be that there has been an occurrence of infidelity in the past. Either way, marriage counseling or therapy is a great idea to help resolve the underlying issues which cause the distrust. When both spouses completely trust the other, the marriage will thrive and bloom.

Although there are many different problems that can arise within a marriage, these are the most common. Being sure to watch out for problems like these and dealing with them in a positive, committed way is a great way to protect and care for your marriage.
